M&M
When I asked for your advice regarding school and the work force you told me...
you shouldn't go for the 'good field' jobs yes - what makes you happy but more specifically or more directly what you are very good at because if you are really good at something you'll be happier
I don't know why but that's stuck with me.
Thinking back, it's amazing you would tell that advice to a moody teenage girl.
But that's how you were. You never bullshitted me and treated me like a child. You never coddled me like all the teachers who tell me to "purse my dreams"
No. You gave me honest, realistic feedback because you actually cared.
You wanted me to pick a career, get a job, and live a solid life.
And I respected you and all your accomplishments.
And I respected you for being a genuinely good guy.
Goodbye.
